Skiatook Girl comes home, Candy (formerly known as Candy Canaday) is finally
returning home after 26 years away. Candy & her Husband Dave Retired Air Force
have been blessed and traveled all over the world and it was time to come home.
We were given the opportunity to purchase the farm where Candy held her first job
at the tender age of 12 at then known as the Jankowski farm and jumped on it. We
are proud to be the New owners as of June 2009 and look forward to serving the
needs of all of the loyal customers.
We are a family owned business and delight in offering you the finest Oklahoma
grown Christmas trees. We are big enough to serve you, yet small enough to get to
know you. This 20 acre Christmas tree farm has been a source of great joy for us
and to many families over the years. This farm was established in the mid 70's by
the Jankowski family who were pioneers in the Oklahoma Christmas tree industry.
The Wood's Eric & Kathy operated the farm since August 1993 and have added
many new areas and features. Kathy & Eric always took much pride in the quality
and beauty of the trees.
Growing trees is a rewarding process. Here in Oklahoma it takes 6 years to grow a
marketable tree. There are a few steps to growing a healthy tree which involves
planting new seedling transplants, spraying for insects and disease, irrigating,
shearing and owing when needed .
We are grateful for the continued support from our many loyal customers and we
hope we have created a friendly atmosphere for you and your family to enjoy!
